Following Greely, U.S. News ranked Kennebunk High School, Falmouth High School, Cape Elizabeth High School and Baxter Academy for Technology and Science, a charter school in Portland, in the top five. Rounding out the top 10 were: South Aroostook High School, Belfast Area High School, Madawaska Middle and High School, Camden Hills Regional High School and Easton Junior-Senior High School.

To our readers, Local student wins first place in singing competition May 21, 2021 Emma Hallundbaek Midcoast Emma Hallundbaek, an alumna of Camden Hills Regional High School who grew up in Lincolnville, received first place honors in her category at the 2021 Maine NATS Classical Student singing competition. The National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS), a non-profit association that promotes the highest standards in the teaching of singing, offers annual competitions and programs designed to showcase talented singers and performers who are soon to be rising stars in the profession. Hallundbaek received first place in Division IV, representing ages 18 through 20 in the state of Maine.
