Acting on intelligence information, officers from Australian Border Force (ABF) intercepted a consignment of toolboxes which arrived in Sydney from the United Kingdom about 7pm last Saturday (15 May 2021). During a subsequent deconstruction, the consignment was found to contain 514kg of compacted white powder concealed within the steel boxes. The powder was tested and returned a presumptive positive result for cocaine, which has an estimated potential street value of $154.2 million.

Acting on intelligence information, officers from Australian Border Force intercepted a shipment of toolboxes which arrived in Sydney from the United Kingdom at 7pm on May 15. It was found to contain 514kg of cocaine hidden in the steel boxes, which has an estimated potential street value of $154million.  Following extensive investigations, detectives stopped a van on Banksia Street, Botany, about 10.50am on Tuesday. 20:03 EDT, 18 May 2021 Troubled former NRL player Jamil Hopoate has been charged with supplying half a tonne of cocaine with an estimated street value of nearly $155 million. Hopoate, 26, is accused of being part of a trio now charged over the massive haul of cocaine from the UK. Hopoate, the son of former Manly winger John Hopoate, was a talented junior, who was sacked by Parramatta and Manly before he could make his NRL debut for off-field issues. Police say Australian Border Force officers found 514kg of cocaine hidden in a consignment of toolboxes which arrived in Sydney on Saturday. 08:11 EDT, 17 May 2021 27 shares A mother-of-three who lured a 28-year-old man to the secluded western Sydney car park where he was fatally assaulted has avoided full-time imprisonment despite her crucial role in the attack. Loubna Kawtharani, now 28, pleaded guilty earlier this year to being an accessory before the fact of assault occasioning actual bodily harm. Kawtharani admitted posing as a buyer on Facebook marketplace in early 2020 for Apple earphones that Ross Houllis was seeking to sell. The pair arranged to meet at a Wakeley car park on the evening of February 14, 2020 to complete the purchase.  However, police allege Mr Houllis was instead encountered at the car park by Sami Hamdach, Kawtharani s partner, and Abdul Karaali.

Fourth person charged after man stabbed - Eagle Vale

Date Time Fourth person charged after man stabbed – Eagle Vale A 22-year-old man is the fourth person charged following investigations into the stabbing of a man at Eagle Vale earlier this month. Just before 3.30pm on Sunday (2 May 2021) emergency services were called to a sporting complex on Eagle Vale Drive following reports of a brawl and located a man with multiple stab wounds. The man, aged 21, was treated at the scene before being taken to Liverpool Hospital, where he underwent surgery and has since been released. Following inquiries, police today (Thursday 13 May 2021) arrested a 22-year-old man at a home in Mereil Street, Campbelltown.
