Kalamazoo Public Safety officers responded about 1:45 p.m. Friday, Dec. 18 to the 1300 block of Fox Ridge Drive on a report of shots fired. Responding officers, using witness accounts, were able to stop a vehicle that was involved in the incident. Police said the driver was “hastily leaving the area” after the vehicle was struck by gunfire. There was a 4-month-old in the vehicle.
