HUDSON — The Second Show Community Thrift Shop and Patisserie Lenox, both on Warren Street, announced temporary closures after positive tests for COVID-19. A volunteer at the Second Show Community Thrift Shop, 519 Warren St., experienced symptoms Dec. 21, two days after working a Saturday shift before testing positive for the virus. Co-workers and the store manager are in mandatory quarantine, but the health department decided not to notify customers because of low risk of transmission, Columbia County Health Department Director Jack Mabb said Monday. “We discussed the issue of whether or not we should put the word out to the public in regard to potential contact and as reported, everybody in the shop was wearing a mask,” Mabb said.
