The Fort Dodge Fine Arts Association’s Youth Advisory Council is inviting young artists in the area to submit their artwork to be featured in a student art show this summer.
All students from kindergarten through college are eligible to submit their work. Entries should be emailed to fdfinearts@gmail.com before May 25 to be included. All artists will be accepted into the art show, and depending on space availability, artists may be allowed to show more than one piece.
“This is something new,” said Shelly Bottorff, executive director of the Fort Dodge Fine Arts Association. “We got our gallery space about three years ago and since then, we focused on local artists, but we haven’t really had a lot of opportunities to feature student artwork.”
