Two injured in Friday crash on C.R. 9

COSHOCTON - A two-vehicle injury crash occurred shortly after 11 a.m. Friday morning in the 59000 block of County Road 9.
The Coshocton County Sheriff s Office said Louise Claypool, 74, of Coshocton County, had pulled over to the side of the road to check her mail. When attempting to reenter the lane of traffic, Claypool pulled in front of a vehicle heading east driven by Pamela D. Brady, 49, of Coshocton County. Brady s vehicle struck the one driven by Claypool.
Authorities said Claypool was treated and released on scene by Coshocton County Emergency Medical Services. Brady was transported by EMS to Coshocton Regional Medical Center with undisclosed injuries. Her condition was unknown Saturday morning.

Elderly couple injured in one vehicle accident in Coshocton County
COSHOCTON COUNTY, Ohio–Authorities said an elderly couple was injured in a one vehicle accident in Coshocton County.
It happened shortly after 11:30 a.m. Saturday on State Route 93 near County Road 236 in Crawford Township. The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office reports that 83-year-old Shelvyjean Wohnhas of Pickaway County was driving south on State Route 93 when she crossed the center line , went off the side of the road , and struck a utility pole.
Both she and her 84 -year-old husband Gary Wohnhas, who was a passenger in the vehicle, were transported to area hospitals with unknown injuries.

Two vehicle accident in Coshocton County
COSHOCTON COUNTY, Ohio–The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a two vehicle accident that sent one person to the hospital.
It happened just before 11:00 a.m. Friday in the 59,000 block of County Road 9 in Coshocton County.
Authorities said a vehicle driven by 74-year-old Louise Claypool was eastbound on CR 9 when she pulled over to check her mail.
Deputies said when Claypool attempted to reenter the lane of traffic she pulled out into the path of a car driven by 49-year-old Pamela Brady and was struck.
Authorities said Claypool was treated and released at the scene.

Nicole L. Hayes received 30 months for incident on Nov. 5
Nicole L. Hayes received 30 months in prison for failure to comply with signal or order of a police officer, a third-degree felony.
Hayes was driving a Chevy Malibu with no plates when she fled from a deputy at high speeds.
Hayes has a history of failing drug rehab efforts, being in four facility five times since 2015.
Hayes will serve up to 3 years of optional post release control and have her drive s license suspended for 4 years.
COSHOCTON - Even though probation was recommended, Judge Robert Batchelor felt a Coshocton woman deserved prison time after having failed drug rehabilitation five times.
