A 24-year-old man critically injured in a high-speed crash in the Northern Territory town of Katherine earlier this month has died in Royal Darwin Hospital (RDH).

The driver has already been charged with several offences, including driving under the influence of alcohol
The man was airlifted to hospital in a critical condition on December 10 after the vehicle he was a passenger in crashed into a light pole.

Northern Territory Police have arrested a 20-year-old man after a serious crash in the town of Katherine last week that left four people injured, including two critically hurt.
