Doctor: ‘Long haul’ COVID leaves symptoms for months Doctor: ‘Long haul’ COVID leaves symptoms for months By 7 News Staff | May 14, 2021 at 5:44 PM EDT - Updated May 14 at 6:39 PM WATERTOWN, N.Y. During the 2019-2020 flu season, the state Department of Health said there were more than 4,000 confirmed flu cases in Jefferson, Lewis and St. Lawrence counties. Then we were hit with the COVID pandemic and this year’s flu season has added up to fewer than 200 cases. That’s a 96 percent drop from the year before.
