Man killed in Sumter county hit and run identified

DALZELL, S.C. One man is dead after a hit and run in Dalzell early Tuesday morning.
According to South Carolina Highway Patrol Master Trooper David Jones the accident happened on Charles Jackson Street in Dalzell a little before 11 am on Tuesday.
A Ford F-150 Raptor truck was traveling northbound on Charles Jackson Street when according to troopers it struck a man on a bike and kept going.

SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WIS) - The Sumter County Coroner’s Office has identified the person who was killed in a two-vehicle collision on US 521 near Wendemere Drive
The collision occurred around 2:30 p.m. on May 7.
Officials say a 2020 Honda Fit was turning left from US 521 onto Wendemere Drive when it was struck by a 1994 Chevrolet.
The driver of the Chevrolet was transported from the scene to an area hospital. Their condition is unknown at this time.
The driver of the Honda, 64-year-old Myra Rahenkamp, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Teen killed in vehicle collision on US Highway 521 in Sumter

SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – The Sumter County Coroner’s Office has identified a teenager who was killed in a vehicle collision on Saturday.
Coroner Robert Baker says Jeremiah Grenier, II, 19, died on US Highway 521 at Charles Jackson Street.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol says around 2 a.m., the driver of a 2003 Chevy Silverado pickup truck was traveling north in a southbound lane on US-521 and hit Grenier’s 2008 Mazda 6 vehicle head on.
Officials say the truck then overturned off the right side of the road.

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– The Sumter County Coroner’s Office has identified a woman killed in a fatal accident Sunday. Officials say 35-year-old Laticia Zimmerman was driving north on Pitts Road when she crossed the center line and struck a 2014 Ford truck head on.
The coroner says she was not wearing a seatbelt and died at the scene. The driver of the truck was not injured.
