Maki Itoh Yet To Receive a Major Contract Offer );
The self-proclaimed “Cutest Wrestler in the World”, Maki Itoh has questioned why she has not received a contract offer from any major wrestling promotions. Taking part in a recent livestream, Itoh had this to say on the matter:
“Pro Wrestling Tees ranking, sales ranking. I’m number one. Number one! So, I’m wondering why no offer? I have many good fan. So, I think soon I can be a star. I think so. So, every pro wrestling company should offer Maki Itoh, but nothing.” );
Maki Itoh confirmed neither AEW or WWE have offered her a deal.

Well, this turned out to be a bigger show than I expected! Considering how much attention was being put on the CyberFight Festival show happening on June 6th, it really felt like Yes! Wonderland was effectively a filler show, certainly a major show with effort put into production but not something that would have much of consequence happen outside of the 3-way match that determined the top title challenger for the next show. In my predictions piece of this show I guessed that none of the 3 titles would change hands, and I ve ended up with only a 33% accuracy rating! That said, there were many matches in what ended up being, on balance, a very good show for TJPW, which I highly recommend you watch for yourself. Let s go through everything from top to bottom:

Tokyo Joshi Pro-Wrestling has been making a push into the western market lately. Kind of. Sort of. It s been stop-start; back in January, they had their first show with English commentary, which wasn t very good unfortunately, three people talking over each other, two of whom didn t seem to know much about the product. They proceeded to not have any more English commentary on shows until announcing it for the upcoming May 4th show, though to be fair TJPW shows frequently don t have any commentary so there s a good chance that long wait was unintentional. They ve also started tweeting things out in English from the official TJPW twitter account on occasion.
