Share Updated: 11:05 PM EDT May 15, 2021 WLKY Digital Team Someone in Louisville is making sure Breonna Taylor s name lives on.Her name was painted into the grass area that sits outside of the bakery at Sullivan University on Bardstown Road. The bakery closed earlier this year.It s not clear who did the painting or when it was done.Taylor was killed in March of last year following an LMPD raid.Her death sparked months of ongoing protests in Louisville. Last year her family was awarded $12 million in a civil lawsuit settlement with the city.According to Louisville Metro Police, the only officer still on the force after the Breonna Taylor raid plans to retire in June.
