Harvey Thunderchild knows how many lives his brother Victor touched, but he says he’s still being caught off guard.
The Saskatchewan Health Authority has confirmed a case of COVID in an individual at Shellbrook Elementary School.
According to the Saskatchewan Rivers Public School Division (SRPSD) one classroom of Grade 2s and potentially, the associated staff will need to isolate until April 10.
In a media release, the SRPSD said there was no evidence that the case(s) was/were acquired or transmitted at school and in person learning will safely continue for the entire school after the Easter Break.
The school division was informed of positive COVID-19 test results and communication is being shared with the classrooms/cohorts, the connected staff, as well as with the school community.
