The 6’4” Vancouver native comes to the Hawks with just 12 games of SJHL experience with the Salmon Arm Silverbacks of the British Columbia Hockey League, and the Pontiacs of the Alberta Junior Hockey League, where he has posted just two assists. “We wanted more of a D first defenseman; a guy that can really control the corners, make a good outlet pass. The great thing with his age, there’s going to be a lot of room for growth and improvement within these next couple of years,” noted

Although the 2020-21 Western Hockey League season has been different than any on record, the frantic pace of the 24-game schedule has allowed players to get a ton of ice time over the last month.
For Prince Albert Raiders defenceman Nolan Allan, the return to action has allowed him to prepare for the biggest event of his career to date, as he’ll suit up for Canada at the IIHF World Under-18 Hockey Championship from April 26 to May 6 in Frisco and Plano, Texas.
Wilson decided to buy her lucky ticket after hearing an ad on a radio station from Regina. She said she was treating it as a donation, as she never usually wins anything. “I thought that s a very nice thing. The SJHL (Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League) are at a standstill right now. I thought, well, maybe that s what I ll do.” She wrote the number down and called the Broncos office to buy a ticket – and the rest was history. After the win, the Broncos invited Wilson to the Elgar Petersen Arena. She said she’s been there before to watch curling in the past, but this time, she got to meet the coach and assistant coach, as well as look at some of the donated items connected to the Broncos bus collision.
