Out near Sacramento, California, somebody wanted to spread a little Christmas cheer by dressing up as Santa while paragliding. It was all good until Santa hit a power pole and then got tangled up in some power lines.
According to the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District, the Santa Claus was released from the power lines after being trapped for over an hour. A local woman learned about the incident after her son recorded the crash. She wasn t sure if it was a joke or not.
The good news is Sacramento Metro Fire says this Santa s helper is going to be okay. It was not a pretty sight, to say the least, but at least they got him down safely. If only Rudolph had been there to guide him.
