Litchfield Woman Injured in Rollover Crash in Meeker County
One person was injured in a single-vehicle rollover crash Tuesday morning in neighboring Meeker County.
The State Patrol reports the crash happened around 7:30 AM when a southbound passenger car went out of control on Highway 22 near 190
th Street in Greenleaf Township. The vehicle ran off the road, where it rolled over in the ditch.
The driver of the car, 56-year-old Julie Menken of Litchfield sustained non-life threatening in juries in the crash and was treated at the Meeker County Memorial Hospital in Litchfield.
The Meeker County Sheriff’s Office, the Litchfield Fire and Rescue and Mayo Ambulance assisted at the scene.

LITCHFIELD – A Litchfield woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident Tuesday on icy roads in Meeker County.
The accident was reported at 7:28 a.m. on state Highway 22 at 190 Street, south of Litchfield near Lake Minnie-Belle.
According to the State Patrol, a 2007 Chevy Cobalt driven by Julie Ann Menken, 56, was going south on Highway 22 when the vehicle went off the road and rolled.
Suspect led deputies on 23-mile chase, hid in the woods
The suspect was arrested after a few hours hiding in a wooded area in Meeker County.

A suspect led police on a 23-mile chase in Meeker County on Wednedsay evening before fleeing on foot and eventually being arrested.
According to the Meeker County Sheriff s Office, at 6:10 p.m. Wednesday a deputy saw a 36-year-old Litchfield man wanted for multiple domestic abuse no-contact order violations driving near Forest City Township.
The deputy tried to stop the suspect, but he fled leading deputies on a 23-mile pursuit. Deputies lost sight of him in a wooded area near Minnesota Highway 24 and 305th Street in Forest City Township, where the suspect apparently fled on foot.

(KNSI) – A 36-year-old Litchfield man wanted for multiple violations of a domestic abuse no-contact order is behind bars after police say he led them on a miles-long pursuit Wednesday night.
The Meeker County Sheriff’s Office says about 6:10, a deputy saw Dustin Nelson’s pickup truck and tried to pull him over. They say Nelson refused and took off, leading police on a 23-mile long chase until they saw they lost sight of him in a wooded area off Highway 24 in Forest City Township.
For two hours, deputies tracked Nelson until he was found roughly two miles away on County Road 34 southwest of Mud Lake. The Minnesota State Patrol, Eden Valley Police Department, CEE-VI Task Force, and Litchfield Police Department all helped in the search.
