The end of 2020 is something we’ve all been waiting for, as if the arrival of Christmas and the New Year would somehow erase all the bad things of the previous months. But hey, isn’t that what happens every year? Doesn’t Santa always come, taking his sleigh up and down the planet, carefully tracked by NORAD this whole time?

Spalding fire station sees Santa fire up his sleigh for drive-through grotto
| Updated: 16:37, 17 December 2020
Santa was in excellent spirits over the weekend after meeting girls and boys at the areaâs first drive-through grotto.
The grotto at Spalding Fire Station was organised with a view to raising money for The Fire Fighters Charity, after COVID-19 restrictions forced the crew to cancel their annual Santa Sleigh Run.
On Saturday, Sunday and Monday, families attended the grotto, where Santa was parked up in his sleigh to greet big and little kids and dancers from Spaldingâs Polka Dot Dance Academy were there to entertain visitors.
