Cross county pursuit results in two arrests

Two subjects refusing to pull over when directed to by a San Joaquin county Sheriff Deputy on Wednesday, July 21 triggered a 16-mile pursuit across the county line, culminating with their arrest near Herald. Galt Police Department was just one of several law enforcement agencies that assisted San Joaquin County Sheriff Department in the pursuit. At approximately 5 p.m. on Wednesday, an AGNET (Agriculture Gangs and Narcotics Enforcement Team) officer attempted to pull over a silver Dodge pickup truck in east Lodi for traffic violations. The driver refused to pull over and proceeded to attempt to lose the pursuing officers by going on and off Highway 99 at multiple on and off ramps.
