San Francisco’s Board of Supervisors will consider approving a $3.25 million settlement for the family of a man shot by police on his Ocean View neighborhood doorstep who ultimately died, in part from his injuries.
The proposed payout comes more than four years after a 2017 call for service devolved into a confrontation between Sean Wendell Moore and two San Francisco police officers. Moore, who had been diagnosed with schizophrenia, was unarmed during the incident.
