Authorities are reminding people to leave valuables out of plain sight following multiple vehicle break-ins over the weekend.
The San Luis Obispo County Sheriffâs Office says deputies responded shortly before noon on Saturday to reports of three break-ins involving cars at the Avila Ridge trailhead.
Information on what was taken was not immediately available as the reports have not yet been completed.
The sheriffâs office is calling this a âcrime of opportunity.â
