Angelo State University hosted a COVID-19 vacine clinic in the C.J. Davidson on April 8 and 9. Shannon will come back for the second dose on April 29 and 30.
Angelo State University held a COVID-19 vaccine clinic on April 8 and 9 in the C.J. Davidson Conference Center, which is located in the Houston Harte University Center.
The clinic was open to all ASU students, faculty and staff. Participants had to show a form of state or government ID, such as their driver’s license or a government-issued ID to receive their vaccine.
According to the Director of Risk and Emergency Management, Sam Spooner, the clinic was meant to encourage more students, faculty and staff to get ASU’s vaccination reports up.
New Curative kiosk helps keep the ASU community safe
ASU on Jan. 25 partnered with biotech company Curative to provide free COVID-19 testing via a supervised kiosk at the ASU Pavilion to students, faculty and staff as they return to class for the 2021 Spring Semester.
Located between Plaza Verde, the CAF and the Pavilion, members of the ASU community can schedule a contactless appointment with a QR code located at the kiosk or schedule an appointment online on the ASU COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Updates website.
The Curative kiosk tests for active cases of COVID-19 rather than virus antibodies which exist after COVID-19 recovery.
