William Carlson
The Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Board of Realtors has honored William “Bill” Carlson as the 2020 Realtor of the Year.
Following a career in the hospitality industry and 25 years of dedicated service to A1 Specialty Metals, Carlson entered the real estate profession.
Over the years, Carlson has been a consistent top producer and award recipient. From Howard Hanna, his accolades include: Best of the Best, the National Sales Excellence Award and Top Producer. Carlson was also honored multiple times with the Chautauqua County Board of Realtors “Diamond Presidential Award,” the most prestigious sales award a member can achieve. He earned the Diamond Sales Award again in 2020.
Celoron Fire Intentionally Set
CELORON An investigation remains ongoing for a fire found to be “intentionally set” late Friday inside a vacant apartment in the village.Members of the Celoron Fire Department were called around 11 p.m. for the fire discovered inside one of the units at the Chautauqua Shoreline Apartments, 75 Marine Park Dr. Volunteers with Lakewood assisted at the scene. The county Fire Investigation Team, reviewing the incident with Celoron officials, determined the blaze was intentionally set. Members of the Fire Investigation Team are currently working with the Ellicott Police Department. Anyone with information regarding the fire is asked to call Ellicott police at 665-7083.
