2 arrested after 84 animals, 1 child found living in ‘deplorable conditions in Citrus County By FOX 13 News Staff Published  Courtesy: Citrus County Sheriff s Office HOMOSASSA, Fla. - Tabitha Kaye Iverson, 51, and Christine Anne Iverson, 42, have been arrested after deputies say they discovered a child and more than 80 animals living in deplorable conditions. Animal control officers with the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, investigating a report of animal cruelty at a home off W. Green Acres Street in Homosassa, say they discovered 21 dogs, 27 cats, six birds, five rabbits, one turtle and a chicken inside the home.  Officers say four of the dogs were caged in the kitchen, laying in their own urine and feces inside a cage. Another nine dogs were found in the same condition inside the dining room.

According to the sheriff s office, sheriff s office animal control officers were called around 6 p.m. Wednesday to a home on W Green Acres Street in Homosassa in regards to a report of animal cruelty.

Duncan developed A news release from the Citrus County Sheriff s Office states that last month, that agency s Tactical Impact Unit received information that a significant amount of fentanyl, methamphetamine and cocaine was flowing into Citrus via Marion County. Working with their Marion counterparts, the agency determined that Duncan was selling, at an almost daily pace, drugs to low-level dealers in Citrus. Once law enforcement officials felt they had enough information for an arrest, they went to Duncan s residence, located in the 5800 block of Southwest 206th Avenue, and detained him. Searching the property, authorities said they recovered drugs, firearms and $112,170 in cash hidden in air ducts. In total, law enforcement officials said the street value of the drugs found was nearly $600,000.
