PARKDEAN Resorts has given a significant boost for tourism in Carmarthenshire with more than £810,000 investment for two parks in Kidwelly and Pendine ahead of the 2021 holiday season. The spend to install and upgrade accommodation is part of a £70 million investment in its business nationwide, and the award-winning company is now hiring for seasonal and full-time roles in Wales. Parkdean Resorts operates two parks in Carmarthenshire – Pendine Sands Holiday Park, and Carmarthen Bay Holiday Park, in Kidwelly – which in 2020 welcomed almost 25,000 visitors. As part of the six-figure investment, there will be two stylish new caravans at Carmarthen Bay, and two comfortable and modern caravans at Pendine Sands.

The spend of £700,000 to install and upgrade accommodation, and refurbish dining areas, at Parkdean Resorts, is part of a £70 million investment in its business nationwide. The company is also now hiring for seasonal and full-time roles in the region. Parkdean Resorts operates four parks in the Lake District, Fallbarrow, Limefitt and White Cross Bay at Windermere, and Gatebeck, near Kendal, which welcomed more than 30,000 visitors in 2020.
