PARKDEAN Resorts has given a significant boost for tourism in Carmarthenshire with more than £810,000 investment for two parks in Kidwelly and Pendine ahead of the 2021 holiday season. The spend to install and upgrade accommodation is part of a £70 million investment in its business nationwide, and the award-winning company is now hiring for seasonal and full-time roles in Wales. Parkdean Resorts operates two parks in Carmarthenshire – Pendine Sands Holiday Park, and Carmarthen Bay Holiday Park, in Kidwelly – which in 2020 welcomed almost 25,000 visitors. As part of the six-figure investment, there will be two stylish new caravans at Carmarthen Bay, and two comfortable and modern caravans at Pendine Sands.

Parkdean Resorts operates four parks in the Lake District, Fallbarrow, Limefitt and White Cross Bay at Windermere, and Gatebeck, near Kendal, which welcomed more than 30,000 visitors in 2020.

The spend of more than £265,000 to install and upgrade accommodation is part of a £70 million investment in its business nationwide, and the award-winning company is now hiring for seasonal and full-time roles in the region. Crimdon Dene Holiday Park, near Hartlepool, welcomed almost 16,000 visitors in 2020, and as part of the investment, the park will benefit from two stylish new caravans, while thirteen upgraded caravans are being introduced to replace existing fleet.
