Rep. Elise Stefanik (NY) who hopes to replace her as chair of the House Republican Conference - a move endorsed on Sunday by House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy - roomate of Democrat pollster Frank Luntz. It’s like political self-immolation.

Hogan criticizes GOP as a ‘circular firing squad’ that had ‘worst four years’ under Trump
Republican Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan on Sunday lambasted the GOP as a “circular firing squad” attacking each other and said the party experienced “the worst four years” under former President Donald Trump.
The comments from Hogan come as Republican lawmakers prepare to oust Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney from her position as GOP conference chair and amid infighting within the party over whether to continue to follow Trump, who has also called for her removal. The Republican governor, an outspoken critic of Trump, told NBC’s Chuck Todd on “Meet The Press” that most GOP leadership does not hold Trump accountable because “they’re concerned about retaliation” from the former President.
