By Craig Borland and Tristan Stewart-Robertson Some areas of Clydebank are recording Covid-19 case rates more than five times the Scottish average - prompting warnings from local MP Martin Docherty-Hughes and council leader Jonathan McColl BANKIES have been urged not to let their guard down against Covid-19 despite a fall in the area’s infection rate – from a point where it was among the highest in Scotland. The positive case rate per 100,000 people in the area hit a peak of 228.3 for the seven days to Saturday, February 13, but has since dropped to 184.4 for the week to February 19 – the most recent date for which figures are available.
