‘Presence of Afghan envoy’s daughter required to conclude probe’ July 24, 2021 RAWALPINDI: Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed Tuesday said the enemy countries, India and Israel, were in hybrid warfare against Pakistan, but their nefarious designs were destined to fail. “The enemies were hatching conspiracies to create misunderstandings between Pakistan and China and create unrest in the region,” he said while addressing a press conference. He said, “It would have been better had the Afghan ambassador not gone back. We want his daughter to be part of the investigations. “No matter she wants to fight her case or not, the Pakistani agencies will fully investigate the case,” he added.

Mr Qureshi is being accompanied on the trip by Foreign Secretary Sohail Mahmood and other senior officials. ISI Director General Lt Gen Faiz Hamid is also in China for the meeting.

China to speed up work on Dasu dam: Fawad

Daily Times July 24, 2021 Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry said on Thursday that enemies of Pakistan aiming to create misunderstandings between Pakistan and China have failed in their planning as Beijing has announced to speed up work on the Dasu dam. Talking to media persons, the minister said Pakistan was grateful to the Chinese government for its continued support.
