Police investigating wounding incident at Sunshine Coast

Police are investigating following a wounding incident on the Sunshine Coast overnight. Around 1am three people were involved in a physical altercation out the front of a Kalowendha Avenue address in Pelican Waters. The incident resulted in an 18-year-old Inala man sustaining lacerations to his abdomen and a 16-year-old Golden Beach boy sustaining lacerations to his arm and back. Both were taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. A male then fled the scene on foot. Anyone with vision or further information of the incident is urged to contact police. Investigations are continuing. Three teens suffer burns after gas bottle ignites

He is one of three teenagers who were treated at a Witta address in the Sunshine Coast hinterland in the early hours of Saturday. Paramedics, including Critical Care, were called to the home at 2.13am after reports of a gas bottle igniting. The teenager who suffered burns to his face was taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
