On Saturday, April 24, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. a collection event (Operation Medicine Cabinet) will be held at Costco’s in Tallahassee, 4067 Lagniappe Way, for unwanted or unneeded medications, both over the counter and prescription.
This collection event will provide City of Tallahassee and Leon County residents the opportunity to properly dispose of their unused or unneeded medications, protecting the environment and lessening the chances for the illegal and potentially harmful use of these drugs.
The event is being organized by the Southern Waste Information eXchange, Inc.
