Because of its enticing design, cool engineering, and, last but not least, affordable pricing, the Chevrolet Corvette has always been a hot commodity. Even more so after the General Motors brand took a chance and reinvented the C8 generation into the mid-engine Stingray wonder that everybody wants a piece of.
It even has working scissor doors.
Not many people can afford to splash out on an exotic supercar. For most of us, the only way to own one is to buy a scale model, but detailed replicas can be very expensive. Alternatively, if you have the skills you can build your own model car out of wood like this artist.
YouTube channel Woodworking Art specializes in carving model cars out of wood, and the results are impressive, to say the least. In the past, we ve watched the talented YouTuber create wooden versions of the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, Audi Q7, and Ford Ranger Raptor. The latest car to get the wood treatment is the 2021 Lamborghini Aventador S, which has been recreated in 1:13 scale with exacting detail.

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) Danica Patrick will lead the field of cars to the green flag at the 105th Indianapolis 500 on May 30.
The motorsports icon will drive the 2021 mid-engine Chevrolet Corvette Stingray hardtop convertible to lead the field of 33 cars, according to Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
“I am very honored to drive the Corvette Stingray Pace Car this year at the Indy 500. It is even more special because of the past year we have all endured, and it will be so nice to see fans back in the stands,” Patrick said in a press release sent to News 8 on Wednesday. “I have always loved Chevy vehicles, and the Corvette convertible is such a beautiful car. Maybe they will let me drive it home!”

The Chevrolet Corvette Stingray isn t just a fast car, but also a fast-seller.

It has been in the top spot for all of 2021.
