JACKSON COUNTY, MI – Police are trying to determine if someone fell through the ice while fishing on a Napoleon Township lake on Saturday.
Ice fishing gear was seen around a hole in Little Wolf Lake Saturday morning, and a citizen called the Napoleon Township Police thinking it was odd, Chief Duaine Pittman said.
At around 11:30 a.m., Jan. 9, the hole had partially refrozen, and it looked like someone may have fallen through the ice and then scrambled out of the lake located in the northeast corner of the township, Pittman said.
