2 deaths, 17 new COVID-19 cases confirmed in Madison Co.

The health department says those patients are:
a 63-year-old woman, who died Dec. 30.
a 62-year-old woman, who died Feb. 3.
A total of 167 Madison County residents have died due to COVID-19 complications.
The health department also confirmed another 17 COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, bringing the total number of confirmed positive cases to 10,567.
Those new patients range in age from 12-years-old to 73-years-old.
There are currently eight Madison County residents hospitalized, with one patient on a ventilator.
The health department also released statistics on patients, including zip code, race, gender, age and their health statuses.

JACKSON, Tenn. The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department is now scheduling appointments for Madison County residents in Phase 1b to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
The health department says these individuals are people who work in Madison County at a public or private kindergarten through 12th grade public or private school, preschool employees, and other first responders who do not have significant direct public contact. These individuals include administrative staff, dispatchers, communications staff and others.
If you live in Madison County, but work in another county in these roles, you do not qualify, according to a news release.

JACKSON, Tenn. The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department has confirmed another 18 cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.
The health department says there are now a total of 10,481 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.
Those new cases range in age from 7-months-old to 70-years-old.
There are currently 14 Madison County residents hospitalized, with two of those patients on a ventilator.
