Victims jumps from third floor over fear of being caught by girlfriend’s brother
A young man who came to meet his girl and jumped from the third floor of a building for fear of being caught by the girl’s brother died at a hospital in Dijkot on Thursday.
Police said 22-year-old Hassan Farooq, a resident of Awami Colony, went to see his lover at her house.
When the girl s brother came, Farooq jumped from the roof of the house instead of running away from the door.
As a result, he was severely injured. Rescue 1122 personnel rushed him to a hospital after providing medical treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries.

FAISALABAD: Additional District and Sessions Judge Imtiaz Nadeem Monday sentenced a convict to life imprisonment and imposed Rs 500,000 fine on him for raping a 10-year-old girl. Jhang Bazar police had registered a case against accused Faizan of Badar Colony for molesting a 10-year-old girl on January 27, 2020. The accused will undergo more six months in prison in case of failure of paying fine.
Schoolteacher ‘sexually harassed’ in Dijkot

DIJKOT:
A married woman, a resident of Ghulam Muhammadabad, who taught at a private school in Marzipura was allegedly subject to sexual harassment by the school owner and two other men.
As per the details, they blackmailed her by threatening to share her compromising videos. A case was filed against the alleged harassers and police were still on the look-out.
The survivor reported that during the beginning of the lockdown in March 2020, when all of her colleagues worked from home, she was asked by the school owner, Ali Asghar, a resident of Rehmat Town, to report to school in the last week of March.
