NJ guy accused of posting altered pics of women on porn site
These days you can even create whole videos making it appear political candidates said things they never said and did things they never did. So altering photos of innocent women taken from their social media and morphing them into obscene images isn’t so hard to do.
And it’s exactly what Cape May County authorities say John Abadie, 27, has been up to. Police say he stands accused of finding pictures of women on their social media accounts and digitally altering them into pornographic images and plastering them on adult sites, including a fetish site.
Cape May Man Arrested on Multiple Counts of Cyber Harassment
Authorities in Cape May County say a man from Cape May has been arrested and is now facing cyber harassment charges.
Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey Sutherland and Lower Township Police Chief William Priole say 27-year-old John Abadie was arrested on multiple counts of cyber harassment, a fourth-degree crime.
Sutherland says the arrest comes after a joint investigation started when, multiple victims came forward and stated that they were a victim of a cyber crime as altered pictures of them were posted on a website, without their permission.
The Cape May County Prosecutor s Office says those charged with a fourth-degree crime, like Abadie, face up to one year in jail.
