Update: The Corvette fetched a top bid of $32,300 at auction on Tuesday, according to the New York State Office of General Services.
ALBANY – A red 2015 Chevrolet Corvette complete with a Stingray trim and a 6.2-liter, V8 engine could be yours at the right price.
The seller? The state of New York.
The state Office of General Services will hold a live, online auction Tuesday for the flashy sports car, which has 31,320 miles on the odometer and a GM 8L90 automatic transmission.
The state came into possession of the Corvette after it was stolen from an out-of-state car dealership, according to the Department of Motor Vehicles.
