a week where nearly 15,000 Americans died due to COVID-19 since Monday, Georgia
shattered its single-day record with 10,393 new COVID-19 cases reported Friday,
1,600 more than the previous worst day. Meanwhile, Bulloch County topped 50 new
cases in one day for the first time since early September.
Bulloch
County recorded its most COVID-19 cases in a single day in four months, and the
coronavirus claimed its 37th and 38th local victims – the first deaths since
Dec. 22.
