The Yellow Jackets’ (19-16, 15-12 ACC) win gave head coach
Danny Hall his 1,300th career victory, becoming the 20th coach all-time in Division I history to reach the milestone and the fourth active head coach.

THE FLATS – Georgia Tech softball (15-25) took care of Kennesaw State (22-20) in a low scoring affair with a 3-2 win on Sunday at Mewborn Field. The Jackets made the most of their opportunities at the dish, highlighted by a solo bomb off the bat of sophomore catcher

Brant Hurter (3-3) received the loss, surrendering three earned runs on seven hits in 5.0 innings of work. LHP Dalton Smith steadied the game, pitching 3.0 innings of one-hit baseball in relief.
The 17
th-ranked Seminoles (19-14, 14-11 ACC) were led by three multi-hit performances with Davis Hare going 3-for-5. LHP Parker Messick (4-2) turned in a quality start, surrendering just three hits in six scoreless innings to get the win.
