The Madison County Sheriff s Office said on Monday no foul play was suspected after investigators discovered the body of a woman on White Hall Shrine Road.
According to law enforcement, the sheriff s office discovered the body of Jeanette Henderson, 73, of Lexington unresponsive in her vehicle Friday morning at White Hall Shrine Road.
Lt. Todd Allen explained a man who was walking his dog along the walking path in the area discovered the body and called it in.
Henderson had been missing from Lexington since Dec. 6.
According to investigators, Henderson appeared to have died from natural causes. At this point, it is still an open investigation. But we do not expect foul play at this time, Allen said. He went on to explain the autopsy of Henderson was performed Saturday and the preliminary findings linked her death to hyperthermia. However, there were other contributing factors.
