50-year-old man ID’d as pedestrian killed in weekend hit-and-run Updated 9:48 AM; Authorities have released the name of a pedestrian killed in a weekend hit-and-run in western Jefferson County. The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as Joshua Scott II. He was 50 and lived in Lipscomb. Sheriff’s deputies responded at 8:45 p.m. Saturday to a report of a person down near Fifth Avenue in Lipscomb. They arrived to find Scott unresponsive. He was pronounced dead on the scene at 8:51 p.m. Authorities said the driver did not stop. The manner of death was ruled accidental, according to the update.The crash was reported around 7:30 a.m. in the 14000 block of Dixie Highway.According to the Louisville Metro Police Department, officers learned that a driver going southbound on Dixie crossed over the median into the northbound lanes.
