(Contributed) Facebook Share Friends and family are mourning the loss of a little Homewood girl who died Monday night, two days after she fell into the family’s swimming pool. Annie Montgomery, 2, was pronounced dead at 6:45 p.m. at Children’s of Alabama, according to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office and her Caring Bridge online journal, which provided multiple updates throughout the weekend on Annie as she fought to live. Dozens gathered outside the family’s home Sunday night to pray for Annie’s healing.
