JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ala. (WBRC) - The Jefferson County Coronerâs Office has identified three people killed Saturday in car accidents.
Two people were killed in a single-vehicle crash on I-59 at 12:45 p.m. The coronerâs office says 25-year-old Montez Undra Tolbert Jr. and 23-year-old Bishop Bishop died after the vehicle they there were in rolled multiple times down an embankment. Both were ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene.
A single-vehicle accident Adamsville claimed a life, as well. The coronerâs office says 39-year-old Ashley Marie Chasteen was pronounced dead at the scene after an accident on Poplar Lane.

TRACKING THE COVID-19 VACCINE Share Updated: 3:15 PM EST Feb 25, 2021 WLKY Digital Team A 50-year-old woman was killed Wednesday when she was struck by a car in Louisville.Patricia Cook died of blunt force injuries in the accident reported around 10 p.m. on Breckenridge Lane, the Jefferson County Coroner s Office said in an update.According to the Louisville Metro Police Department, Cook was crossing the northbound lanes of Breckenridge Lane, near Landside Drive, when she was struck by a car. Cook died at the scene, police said.Additional details about the accident have not been released.The LMPD s traffic unit is handling the case.

BIRMINGHAM The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified a woman who died after a fall from a parking deck at Children’s of Alabama.
Katherine Anastasia Juarez, 21, was found just a few feet away from the parking deck on 16th Street and Seventh Avenue South on Thursday, Feb. 25.
Coroner Bill Yates said Juarez died from blunt force trauma and no foul play is suspected.
Birmingham Police are investigating.

UPDATE: The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim as Detraio Deshawn Whorton, 27, of Birmingham.
EARLIER:
BIRMINGHAM Birmingham Police are investigating after a man was shot and killed on the east side of the city.
The victim was shot just after 5 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 25, 2021, in the 8600 block of First Avenue North. Police said the victim was shot in the neck after exiting his vehicle and engaging in an altercation with another person.
“Whorton returned to his vehicle and collapsed in the driver seat,” police said in a press release. “The investigation indicates Whorton was an acquaintance of the suspect.”
