CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. The death of a man that happened while he was in custody is under investigation in Jefferson County.
A 911 call came in Saturday morning that a man was punching another man’s 80-year-old wife in the face, and when deputies with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office told the man to get on the floor, they stunned him three times.
The Sheriff’s Office tells The Herald Mail the 34-year-old man, who was estimated to be about 400 pounds, suffered some kind of medical event and was ultimately pronounced dead by medical personnel.

LITTLETON, Colo. The family of a missing teenager is still desperate for answers more than a month after her disappearance.
Cadence Warner s mother says she left their home near West Quincy Avenue and South Kipling Parkway on the afternoon of March 23 and never returned. It s been two days after a month, so it s been brutal, her mother Lacey Williams said.
Video captured by the family s surveillance camera shows Cadence leaving through the backyard with nothing but the clothes on her back, a small backpack, and her cat inside a carrier.

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. The Jefferson County Sheriff s Office is asking for the public s help finding suspects in two cases of men approaching children, both of which were reported in the past week.
Deputies said the first incident was an attempted abduction. It happened on Tuesday at around 7:30 p.m., according to JCSO, on the Weaver Gulch Trail at Harriman Lake. In that case, deputies said, the man grabbed a 9-year-old girl by the arm but ran off when she screamed.
JCSO said he was described as 5 feet, 9 inches tall, unknown race, with a medium build and wearing a black pullover hoodie, a black bandana with a white design, dark jeans with a hole in the right knee and dark sunglasses.
