A 911 call came in Saturday morning that a man was punching another man’s 80-year-old wife in the face, and when deputies with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office told the man to get on the floor, they stunned him three times. The Sheriff’s Office tells The Herald Mail the 34-year-old man, who was estimated to be about 400 pounds, suffered some kind of medical event and was ultimately pronounced dead by medical personnel.
