JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. â The Jefferson County Sheriff s Office is investigating an attempted child abduction at Harriman Lake Park.
The Jefferson County Sheriff s Office said at 7:20 p.m. Tuesday, a man grabbed a 9-year-old girl by her shoulder at Harriman Lake Park, which is near W. Quincy Avenue and S. Kipling Street. The girl was with a friend on the western part of the Weaver Gulch Trail, which runs along the southern edge of Harriman Lake.
The girl screamed and the man ran west, the sheriff s office said.

JEFFERSON COUNTY A 46-year-old woman has been arrested for the murder of her longtime boyfriend in east Jefferson County.
According to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to a business on Pawnee Village Road at approximately 8:15 a.m. on Sunday to investigate a male who was found deceased. Upon arrival, deputies discovered the body of a male in his 60’s.
The victim has not been identified.
Police say the evidence suggests that a female, 46-year-old Tomeka Sims, was with the male victim at this location at around 10 p.m. Saturday when some type of disagreement occurred between the two. Sims is believed to have gotten into the male’s car and drove away, dragging the victim along the roadway before he fell to the ground.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - The Jefferson County Sheriffâs Office is investigating after a man was found apparently drug and run over by a vehicle at a business Saturday night.
The body of a man in his 60â²s was discovered at a business on Pawnee Village Road Sunday morning.
After investigation, officials learned that the man and a woman had been at the location around 10:00 p.m. Saturday when they got into some type of argument. The woman got into the manâs car and began to drive away, dragging the man alongside the vehicle before he fell to the ground. The woman then returned to the spot where the man still lay on the ground, slowly approaching, and drove over his body multiple times.
