It wasn’t until after 9NEWS raised questions about how many tickets were being issued that the city says it became aware of the situation and changed its policy.

Mario Kaiser is accused in the overnight burglary and was arrested by deputies in the area near the mall shortly after they arrived. Deputies responded to the retail store for an alarm in the early morning hours Wednesday. When deputies entered the store, they observed numerous luggage type bags filled with merchandise from the store, the sheriff’s office tweeted.

Madison was a passenger in a Volkswagon Passat that was stopped at a traffic light in the 5700 block of Valley Road just before 9:45 p.m. that Saturday. Authorities said the Passat, as well as a Honda Accord, were both struck from behind by a Dodge Ram traveling north on Valley Road at a high rate of speed. A 1-year-old Midfield girl was killed Saturday, Dec. 19, 2020, in a crash in Fairfield. The crash happened at 9:42 p.m. Madison had to be extricated from the vehicle and was taken to Children’s of Alabama where she was pronounced dead at 10:30 p.m.

White supremacist leader pleads guilty in racketeering case

LITTLE ROCK – A Russellville man pleaded guilty Wednesday to his involvement in a racketeering and narcotics conspiracy based on his role as president of a white supremacist organization. Wesley Gullett, 31, was president of New Aryan Empire (NAE), a white supremacist group founded by inmates in the Arkansas Department of Corrections. Gullett entered a guilty plea today before United States District Judge Brian S. Miller. Prosecutors alleged that from 2014 to 2016, Gullett and NAE associate Marcus Millsap repeatedly offered money to other NAE associates to kill Bruce Wayne Hurley, an individual who had purchased methamphetamine from Millsap. According to the charging document, NAE members believed Hurley had provided information about Millsap to law enforcement, and NAE members allegedly carried out other retaliatory acts against those who they believed had provided information to la
