Howell resident charged in connection with Matawan hit-and-run
A resident of Howell has been charged in connection with a hit-and-run motor vehicle incident after she allegedly struck and injured a 77-year-old female resident of Matawan on Freneau Avenue in Matawan on March 9, Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J. Gramiccioni announced in an April 2 press release.
Gramiccioni said the injured woman was found along the roadside when Matawan police arrived at the scene.
The prosecutor said Jennifer B. Aretino, 36, of Howell, has been charged with third degree leaving the scene of a motor vehicle collision with serious bodily injury and with numerous motor vehicle violations.
