A Jamestown man accused of breaking into a northside home, then caught attempting to enter another, is facing burglary charges.
Cody A. DiDomenico, 27, was waiting to appear in Jamestown City Court for arraignment on charges of second-degree burglary, trespass and two counts of petit larceny.
Officers responded at 4:45 p.m. Sunday to a Falconer Street residence for a reported burglary in progress. The homeowner told officers he heard someone upstairs in his home and called 911. An investigation found that DiDomenico allegedly broke into the residence and took a cellphone and other property.
DiDomenico was later found “as he was attempting to enter another city resident’s home,” Jamestown police said in a news release. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to Jamestown City Jail without incident.

The department, in a news release, said the string of arrests are the result of the state’s bail reform law, which releases those charged with non-violent crimes as they await further court proceedings.
Officers were called around 7:30 p.m. on Friday to CVS, 19 S. Main St., for reports of a disorderly person. Police identified 42-year-old Patrick J. Blakemore as the person causing the disturbance inside the store, amd advised him he would be taken into custody if he did not leave the store.

¯ Angel Figueroa, no age, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt and second-degree unlawful imprisonment. Officers responded at 4:10 a.m. Sunday to Barrett Avenue for a domestic incident. There was a confirmed stay away order of protection for Figueroa to stay away from the residence and a person who resides there. Figueroa reportedly had a machete and allegedly prevented anyone else from answering the door. Figueroa was transported to Jamestown City Jail and held for arraignment.

Dejesus-Godineaux, 21, of Jamestown, was charged with second- and third-degree criminal possession of stolen property, two counts of first-degree reckless endangerment, driving while ability impaired by drugs, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, unregistered motor vehicle, uninsured motor vehicle, uninspected motor vehicle, speed not reasonable, moved from lane unsafely, fail to display number plate and unlicensed operator.
At 10:26 p.m. on April 1, sheriff’s deputies responded to a crash on Interstate 86 in the town of Sherman. The driver was identified as Dejesus-Godineaux, and an investigation found that he was driving in excess of 100 mph and “intentionally veered off the roadway after advising the two passengers of the vehicle that he was going to kill them.”
