ADM became the first of possibly three projects in the Jamestown area to confirm it was moving forward Monday with its announcement of a $350 million soybean crushing plant near the Spiritwood Energy Park Association industrial park.

JAMESTOWN, N.D. ADM announced plans Monday, May 10, for a $350 million soybean crushing plant at the Spiritwood Energy Park Association industrial park.
The plans include redeveloping the former Cargill Malt plant for use in processing soybeans. ADM confirmed that the plant would produce soybean meal and vegetable oil for food, feed, industrial and fuel customers, including producers of renewable diesel.

Work has started on the final stages of planning for the Buffalo City Park, according to Brian Lunde, a volunteer working on furthering the project. We are four or five months from the finish of the financial planning process, he said. They (Apogee Attractions) are bringing in some of the top budgeters in the world along with civil engineers and design architects.
