(Courtesy of Jackson County Sheriff s Office) Facebook Share JACKSON COUNTY, MI – An armed man wanted for shooting a Waterloo Township man in the leg with a shotgun has been found after being on the run for about a week. Darvin Cole was arrested Tuesday, March 2, a week after it was announced he was wanted in connection with the shooting of the 33-year-old Waterloo Township man, according to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.

Jackson County Sheriff Seeks Shooting Suspect

  Jackson County Sheriff’s Deputies are attempting to locate the suspect in a shooting from Tuesday, Feb. 23rd in Waterloo Township. Deputies were dispatched to St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor for a shooting that reportedly occurred in the 10000 block of Waterloo Munith Rd. in Waterloo Township.  The victim, a 33 year old man from Waterloo Township, had a verbal altercation with the suspect.  During the altercation the suspect obtained a shotgun, shot the victim in the leg, and fled the scene. The suspect is 38-year-old Darvin D. Cole from Henrietta Township.  Cole is currently out of jail on bond for snowmobile theft.  Cole has a felony warrant for larceny of a firearm and a misdemeanor warrant for failing to appear in court.  Investigators are seeking charges of attempted murder for this shooting.  Darvin Cole is considered armed and dangerous.  IF you have information about Cole’s whereabouts contact any of the following:
