New Delhi, April 24 : Traders in Delhi will observe voluntary lockdown for one more week to assist the government in bringing down the Covid numbers, the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) said on Saturday.
Accordingly, more than 100 leading associations from all parts of Delhi have decided to observe Voluntary Self Lockdown from April 26 April to May 2.

New Delhi [India], April 20 (ANI) Delhi Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal on Tuesday appealed to the migrant workers to not leave the city and assured them of assistance from the government to take care of their needs while lockdown is in effect.
According to the sources, DelhiLt Governor is deeply concerned about reports and visuals of migrant workers at stations and bus stands, to leave Delhi.
He also met Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Chief Secretary to take stock of the situation and instructed Delhi government to take every possible step to stem reverse migration.

Delhi government will be enforcing lockdown in the city starting Monday night for a week till April 26 as it grapples with the massive surge in Covid-19 cases. Kejriwal said Delhi s health system is strained with the daily 25,000 cases that the city is witnessing now.

New Delhi [India], April 16 (ANI): Amid a growing number of COVID-19 cases, Delhi Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal on Friday asked officials to ensure the setting up of helplines that inform the availability of beds in hospitals.
He also reviewed the enforcement of COVID appropriate behaviour and preparedness for implementing the guidelines issued by the government.
He reviewed the COVID situation along with the Chief Secretary, Commissioner of Police, Divisional Commissioner, MCD Commissioners and other senior officers today.
