Medical examiner identifies 22-year-old man killed in Springdale crash

SPRINGDALE, Wis. The Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office has released the name of the 22-year-old motorcyclist who was killed in a crash in the town of Springdale on Tuesday afternoon.
The incident happened on County Highway PD at County Highway J and was reported to officials at around 4:50 p.m.
A news release said Dylan LaMere, of Waunakee, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. The medical examiner’s office completed a forensic examination Wednesday, with preliminary results confirming LaMere died from injuries he suffered in the crash.

Police arrest woman in connection with Park Street homicide; victim identified

Officials with the Madison Police Department said officers with the department’s Violent Crime Unit arrested 19-year-old Carmen Sharp on Tuesday. Sharp was taken to the Dane County Jail and tentatively charged with party to a crime first-degree intentional homicide and bail jumping.
The 23-year-old victim in the shooting died from his injuries Monday morning.
The Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim Wednesday afternoon as Isiah T. Davis. Authorities said Davis died from injuries he suffered when he was shot.
Additional testing is underway, according to a press release.

The single-vehicle crash happened on the 8100 block of West State Road 81 in the town of Newark, according to a news release Monday.
Authorities said a driver was heading westbound on State Highway 81 near County Highway H and was going too fast while driving around a curve. Deputies said the person’s vehicle went into the other lane and struck a tree after rolling over into a ditch.
Malerie Schupbach, 34, of Beloit, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office completed a forensic examination Monday, with preliminary results showing Schupbach died from injuries she suffered in the crash. Officials said she had not been wearing a seat belt.
